Lets indulge together in mulled wine and an enchanting Christmas atmosphere at one of the winter highlights in Hamburg at the Fleetweihnachtsmarkt near Stadthausbrücke and Jungfernstieg.
This year we head back to The Anglo-German Club to enjoy a black-tie gala event. Our guest speaker will guide us through his research on „Secret Science“. We are looking forward to seeing you there.
Join us on for an after-work guided tour of one of Hamburg’s newer cultural attractions: the International Maritime Museum. Please use the booking app to sign-up.
As ever, we will be holding an event for students headed to Oxford and Cambridge from in and around Hamburg. This year’s informal get-together will be on Friday, 16th September. Please use the University channels to sign up or, alternatively, contact us by e-mail.
Summer Garden Party
In another tradition to be resurrected from pre-pandemic days, we will be joining with the Harvard Society of Hamburg to host a garden party in the beautiful grounds of the Anglo-German Club. Keep an eye on our e-mail updates for further information.
Boat Race event
All things being well (a necessary caveat in these times), we will, for the first time in three years, be coming together to cheer on the Oxford and Cambridge crews and lob insults at each other across an imaginary dividing line on 3rd April. Please contact us for information about the location and how to book.
We are delighted to be hosting the President of the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA), Professor Amrita Narlikar, who will be speaking to us about relations between India and the EU on 20th January. Contact us for log-in details.
