On 12th November, the Society will be holding a black-tie dinner at the Anglo-German Club with an after-dinner speech by the publisher of a renowned weekly newspaper. Invitations will be sent to members in due course.
We have organised a private tour of the Salonfähig exhibition about literary hostesses and ladies of letters at the Jenisch-Haus in Hamburg. The tour will start mid-afternoon on Saturday, 22nd October, and we will arrange coffee and refreshments afterwards. Please e-mail if you would like to join the tour.

Headed to Oxford or Cambridge this autumn? Join us from 6pm on Thursday 15th September and ask all those questions that we wish somebody would have been able to answer when we were getting ready to go. Summer Garden Party
From 6pm onwards on 13th July, we will have the run of the Anglo-German Club’s splendid Alster-side gardens for the evening . Weather permitting, there will be a barbecue and buffet. As there will be no fixed seating arrangements, we look forward to welcoming as many members of the Society with friends/family as possible. Lunch with Ambassador Anthony Gardner
On 14th June, we will be enjoying lunch with a talk by the US envoy to the European Union, Anthony Gardner. All details by e-mail to the Society.
There will be a private tour of the Falckenberg Collection for members of the Oxbridge Society Hamburg on 11th June, late afternoon, followed by dinner at a nearby restaurant. Please contact us by e-mail if you intend to come.
Our first Anglo-German Club Dinner as the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Hamburg will be taking place on 30th March 2016. Please confirm your attendance by 14th March latest by e-mail.
