Unlike many alumni societies, the Oxbridge Society of Hamburg does not charge a membership fee. Instead, members pay directly for the events they attend.
Our programme ranges from more formal occasions, such as the Annual Dinner at the Anglo-German Club, to informal pub evenings where everyone simply pays their own bill, and Christmas Market gatherings where members cover their own food and drinks.
Some members have also generously supported the Society privately, helping us to fund activities such as Freshers Events and to offer reduced prices for alumni under 30 at the Annual Dinner.
All of the Society’s work is organised on a voluntary basis, and there are no commercial activities connected with it.
Our motto is “For our members, by our members.” Becoming a member is simple: just get in touch with us.
